Adding an attractive Mirror-style Juliet and the renowned Balcony 2 (aerofoil) handrail to the cost-effective traditional round handrail system boosts the range to 80 different standard models available with a five working day turnaround. Countless custom Juliet balcony sizes – up to an amazing 4,100mm wide without the need for any vertical posts – can also be supplied with a 30-day lead time. Railing systemsBoth the traditional 70mm diameter handrail and Balcony 2 (aerofoil) handrail systems use a bracketed bottom rail that fits underneath the cill and are available in seven standard sizes from 1.28m to 2.84 m wide. With its slimline 51mm height handrail, the Balcony 2 system permits up to 4,100mm spans without supporting posts. |
Using a 70mm round handrail on top and an inverted handrail on the bottom, the Mirror Juliet requires side fixings only, giving a neat, clean and perfectly-balanced external appearance. The Mirror version comes in six standard sizes from 1.28m to 2.45m with a five wroking day turnaround and custom sizes offered up to 2,450mm wide requiring no posts. Custom sizes have a 30-day lead time.
Railing colours and glass types
All three systems can be supplied in four colour finishes – White powder-coated, Silver anodised, Bronze anodised and Balcony’s proprietary Royal Chrome anodised finishes.
The 80 standard models utilise 10mm clear toughened glass with an option to add the BalcoNano® self-cleaning glass coating. For custom Juliet balconies, there’s a wide variety of glass options, including laminated and tinted panels.
