Increasing numbers of people are becoming more conscious of the products they choose as humankind’s impact on the Earth becomes clearer. The home improvement and property industries are no different.
Balconette is committed to carbon efficient business practices. We try our best to reduce the impact of our manufacturing and installation processes on the environment. Our focus on quality and durability means we have chosen anodised aluminium and glass as the key components of our products. That’s because these materials create durable, cost-effective and attractive balustrades and balconies. But the benefits don’t end there.

Thinking of adding a structural glass balustrade to your property? Then as well as major decisions such as configuration and whether you install the structural base channel above or below floor level, there are smaller decisions that affect the way your finished glass balustrade looks. Summer section winner announced
“Enjoying Nature’s Light Show”.
As the number of entries for our Summer Photo competition went into the hundreds, we knew we were going to have a tough time selecting a winner.
Celebrity Judge Gray Levett, of the prestigious ‘Grays of Westminster’ Nikon specialists, was also impressed with the quality of entries, and with good reason.
We ask all entrants to take a bow. We knew that Balconette customers have good taste, but you have done us proud.
The winner – Christopher Davis
Gray commented on the four finalists:
“Four excellent images. They all convey the advantages of having a Balconette product but I feel that Christopher Davis’ picture with its sweeping panorama of the countryside makes you want to own one oneself. Great image well composed and executed.”
Christopher receives our first segment award for the best summer photo, and an exhibition size print framed in a Royal Chrome identical finish to match his Balconette Aerofoil Balustrade.
Mr. Levett also asked for 2 runners-up to receive Special Commendations: “Daniel Young’s coastal castle subject is also good and ties in second for me, with Robin Lawson’s impressive sunset and the two wine glasses signalling a reflective evening ahead enjoying Nature’s light show.”
As we move into Autumn, we’re hoping you will be inspired to capture some more special images that show how our balconies help you to make the most of your view.
