Our balcony system balustrades ae unique in the fact that this is the only system around that can enable postless balconies without using structural glass. Utilising the strength of the handrail the systems can span as much as 4.0m without posts. In theory you can have an endless run of balcony without posts if you do not surpass the maximum lenths the handrail can span and fix them to the walls.

We know that our systems are well known for their suitability to harsh environments. It is for this reason we must make sure that the colours and options we offer you the customer must be fully suited to stand up to the harshest of conditions and do what we say they do on the tin.
Balustrade installation left to the last moment is not a good idea!
We get some customers coming to us after all, or the majority, of their building work is almost finished wanting to order and install a balustrade. In these cases usually the walls are finished and the waterproofing has already been applied. The repeated request in these cases is “I want to install the balustrade but not fix through the waterproofing” or “We can’t fix to the floor…”.
Glass fencing is getting more and more popular, probably due to our warmer summers and the growing popularity of pools.
Fencing made of glass, is another application for the glass balustrade that is being used more and more in new builds as well as renovation projects. A glass fence is made of toughened glass that is held at the base and often also with a handrail around the top of the balustrade glass.

When spring is in the air there’s nothing lovelier than spending time outside. Hear the birds singing, feel the welcoming warm rays of the sun and see nature spring back into life. Dining outside feels like a real treat at this time of year; whether you’re sitting on the decking for a lazy Saturday morning breakfast, enjoying a quiet cup of tea, or putting on a lunch for the whole family out in the sunshine – al-fresco eating is a delight after the dark days of winter.

What is Composite Decking Material?
Strong and durable, Balconette Composite Decking looks just like wood, but is a modern, low maintenance and eco-friendly alternative to traditional timber decking. This new generation of external composite decking material is made from a unique polyurethane and mineral blend that lasts a long time, yet requires minimal maintenance.
The system is moulded with the appearance of natural prime oak boards. Each board is then hand-coloured to exactly replicate the detail of natural timber, so no two boards look the same – just like the real thing.
It’s also available in a variety of finishes and colours, so suitable for all types of locations and settings. So if you’re considering installing composite decking in your next project, here are some key points to consider.

The greatest source of free energy that exists on our earth is the power of the sun. Many countries harness that power and use it to their benefit.
Other countries do not have the means or the monetary resources to undertake a capital investment into the technology, for example, many African countries are in this category where the sun shines continually during the day light hours.
Unfortunately, and for many reasons, much of this free energy is currently discarded and we continually burn fossil fuel to heat and light our homes and power our electrical appliances.
There is nothing new about this and PV panels are more and more accessible and are becoming more popular than ever. But a large percentage of PV panels used are additions used solely for this purpose. Meaning they are not integrated into a product which would use glass anyhow.
Large expansive areas of glass on balustrading, balconies and roof terraces can be a valuable source of solar energy if they could be used to house solar panels.

Coastal Equals Corrosive
Coastline homes and apartments with sea views are the most expensive properties around. The intriguing lure of the ocean and seas have a special effect on us human beings.
Full height glass doors and windows are one way to enjoy this view but an external balcony overlooking the sea has been since the time of ancient Rome and Greece a pleasant amenity to enjoy life.
