James installed the 11 – metre Aerofoil system glass balustrade on his own in two days. Taking its name from the distinctive wing-shaped handrail, the Aerofoil balustrade system’s design allows for posts, when required, to be spaced at up to 2.1 metres apart. Secured with end posts at each end, this balustrade features an Aerofoil handrail with Balconette’s proprietary Royal Chrome finish.

As well as retaining uninterrupted views from the sloping garden, the glass panels on their smart new patio provide protection from the wind on breezier days.

The couple have received ‘lots of compliments’ on the balustrade and say that it ‘suits the garden’. “It adds that finishing touch and I really love it,” continues Kerrie. “We often sit out on the patio with cocktails. The balustrade makes me feel like I’m on a cruise ship looking out to sea.”
